These speakers don't exactly blow the roof off the joint, but they are good enough to enjoy at full volume.
Best $25 purchase I've made in a long time. I don't blast the volume or play music with it, but the games sound great.
I use that monitor for my PS3 and 360 games. Monitor was great, but the sound was awful (I used headphones so it wasn't too bad).
I purchased this to complement the ViewSonic VX2433wm 24-inch WideScreen LCD Monitor I just purchased. This is perfect for my situation.
I decided to get this for the rare occasion no one is home and I can play games without my headphones. I figured I couldn't go wrong for $25.I was right.
Just enough bass to give you depth (you're not gonna feel any "boom" from this system). To sum it up:Great for console gaming on a small tv played at a reasonable volume.Doubt it would be any good for playing music at a loud level (frankly, if you are expecting this for $25, you're crazy).
These are great speakers for the price. Good for home use I wanted to use them at school, but the size makes it inconvienient. The sound quality is great. Great quality for a low price.
If you need some cheap computer speakers, this is an amazing deal. They sound much better than their price would imply. They've lasted me for quite a while now. The bass from the subwoofer is impressive, and the sound overall is clear. My only minor gripe is the volume knob, which is a little hard to operate compared to other brands, but on the plus side it has headphone and microphone inputs for convenience.Unless you want to splurge for surround sound or audiophile quality, these are definitely recommended.
Not going to go on and on about how great these are so if your in the market for very good speakers with a nice touch and that being a separate power and volume control, spend the money. It's work it.
